Adam and I just purchased our first home in San Diego! It was a long process but we finally got the keys on Thursday. You will be seeing a lot more posts as I learn the process of renovating. The house was built in 1988 and the previous owners did not put much love into it (the bathrooms and kitchen still looked the same!). We have decided to renovate before moving in. Today we visited the house and after one day of work the kitchen and floors are gone; I have to say, it feels great!
In the upcoming months I will be posting our renovation process. Pinterest has been a life-saver. I got so much inspiration reading other people’s blogs that I found through their images shared on Pinterest. One particular blog called Little House Blog was extremely helpful. We just ordered our Ikea kitchen today and Lindsay’s tutorial has been very valuable. For everyone out there buying an Ikea kitchen this is a must-read.
I promise to post everything I learn through this entire process and I hope this helps others as you helped me. The door of our new house is blue, hence the name of this blog. Hasta pronto!
